Watchers

And so it begins

Thu Jul 23, 2009, 5:46 PM
Let me tell you a little about myself:

I was born at the age of zero to my parents; this is where my story starts. I can assure you it is all true and not exaggerated.

I had an idyllic childhood and involved living in the countryside, with my mum owning goats and chickens, and the family owning a blue Collie called Meg, two cats named Sam and Ally (named after two characters from the TV show Quantum Leap, it turned out), assorted guinea pigs and even Quail at one point. I was a very independent child and often went missing, just to be found in the field by our house with the goats. I loved life up until the age of 11 when I started secondary school. But that stuff isn't very nice to listen to or read. I've never been too lucky with girls. My approach now is let someone interested in me come to me. Being male though, I won't notice, but I guess that's half the game. I'm a bit eccentric and incredibly quirky. I like authenticity: I have two pairs of Texan boots, and a Ranger hat from a shop in San Antonio; a shemagh from Yemen (as opposed to the patterned material 14 year old kids get off a stall in Camden); I order accessories from other countries and I love little skull beads made of bone or wood and other sorts and I string them together and make bracelets from them; I make things a lot, including a bag for a friend, I carved a tiki head and sculptured, albeit amatuerishly, a Jehovah Witness out of ice and snow (you could tell because he was holding a bible in his arm); I make sushi because English sushi is terrible and isn't real sushi because it's cooked, I also have a contact in London and hope to get some Wasabi seeds. I am taking up painting and love mixed media and stencilling. What else? Yes I am very eclectic with my music tastes, but I have certain styles I don't like. I'm sometimes a bit too "outspoken". I am often seen as a "worrier" but I'm usually just concerned about something, but not in a negative way. I'm a thinker and always looking to improve society.
